A Full Wipe means both the map and blueprints (BPs) are completely wiped.
It's a complete reset of the game.
All servers are fully wiped once per week.
For detailed schedules, check the 📆│server-info channel.
It usually takes around 5-10 minutes for the servers to restart after a wipe.
Please be patient during this time.
Daily restarts keepthe servers in optimal running conditions:
- Clear server memory
- Check for updates
- Maintain smooth server performance
Restarts happen during nighttime (EU time) and start being announced in the game chat one hour before they occur.
If you are caught outside with loot, or during crafting, all the loot you loose is on you.
On the 1st thursday of every month, Facepunch relases an update to the game client and server.
These updates contain fixes and updated content.
These updates are mandatory and happen somewhere around 19:00 CET.
- Press F1 and type
console.clear - Try and Join the server again (You will still get the error).
- Press F1 again and type
copy - Open a .TXT file and press CTRL + V
- Look for "Loading custom map" and there will be a URL next to it
- Copy and paste that URL into an internet browser
- Locate your Rust "Maps" Folder
(\steamapps\common\Rust\maps)and delete everything in there. - Take the downloaded file and drag that into your Rust "Maps" Folder
(\steamapps\common\Rust\maps) - Restart Rust and you should be good!
A server may be offline due to:
- Scheduled daily restart
- Ongoing wipe
- Unexpected crash

No, all RustVikings servers are pure vanilla. We don't run mods or anything that changes the base gameplay as designed by Facepunch.
